People with physical or learning disabilities, autism or a mental health condition often face barriers to living the lives they want. Central to their concerns is whether they will be able to find a quality home that meets their needs and enables them to live independent, safe and rewarding lives – now and in the future.
Hexagon Partnership, an independent provider of high-quality, specialised supported housing, wants to change this dynamic and is launching a programme of quality, bespoke housing. Each specific element of the design is carefully considered so as to best meet individual needs, enabling them to live independently in a home for life.
Led by Managing Director, Alastair Gourlay, Hexagon Partnership brings together an expert and experienced senior management team and the financial strength of gbpartnerships; market leaders in the development, investment and operational management of health and social care facilities.
The Partnership has combined the forces of Pozzoni Architecture, Conisbee, MLM Group, REAL Consulting and grandCARE to create a Design Guide describing how inspirational design will support Hexagon’s ambitions to make quality Supported Housing much more readily available across the United Kingdom.
Alastair Gourlay, Managing Director, commented:
