Alastair Gourlay - Managing Director

BSc (Hons) Surveying. 

Role and responsibilities 

  • Principal client contact co-ordinating all legal, financial and operational matters with your team. 

  • Structuring and progressing development deals with all partner through to financial close. 

  • Managing the input of Hexagon’s multi-disciplinary design and construction team to deliver a world class development.

  • Experienced leader - managed a team of 55 in the operational delivery of 100+ special purpose vehicles with a portfolio value over £1bn.

Paul Ferry - Chairman

Paul has extensive experience operating in the public/private arena’s, and understands what it takes to establish and grow first class sustainable businesses.

 

Having established a very successful start-up within the FTSE 250 business Mitie, Paul has guided gbpartnerships through a challenging but successful period of growth and change.

 

He will continue to bring this experience to the fore in helping the Hexagon management team during these exciting times.

George Farley  - Operations Director

Role and responsibilities 

• Optimising the benefits of partnership working.

• Establishing the team and ensuring development proposals are commercially robust and shaped to client’s requirements. 

• Sourcing and engaging proven and appropriately experienced finance and operator partners.

Simon Parr - Senior Development Manager

Simon started his career in a private architectural and quantity surveying practice before moving to the NHS where he gained over 10 year’s experience in estate management across three hospital sites, delivering major projects on both the hospital sites and within the wider community.


Simon then joined the private sector as both bid manager and clinical design manager working on a number of major PFI Healthcare projects throughout the country. As part of this role, Simon gained valuable experience working with hospital staff and clinicians. Simon’s role expanded into development management and contract administration, delivering both health and education projects from inception to completion.


Simon is passionate about sustainability and modern methods of construction and ensures that these embedded into all his design solutions.
